Welcome to the Aki-Con Message Board! We’d like to take the time and thank you for your interest in our forum. Aki-Con is providing this forum to discuss and converse with others for various features of the convention, and of course, providing a place for general discussion. Aki-Con Forum is a friendly PG-13 place, and to keep it that way, we’ve got board rules all users must follow.

Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to lock, move, merge, edit, or remove posts as they see necessary. In all, their decisions are final. It is the staff's job to moderate this message board as they see fit. If they believe you have broken a rule, it is their job to take the actions necessary to correct the wrong. If you ever have a problem with any of the actions that are taken against you, whether it is a post removal, warning, or any other thing, you do have the right to defend yourself. We ask that if you do feel the need to defend yourself, then take your concern up to the Administrators. Also, Administrators reserve the right to ban and warn you as they see fit.

Aki-Con does have a warning system on this board. Constant breaking of the rules will result in a warning. Each member has a warning bar underneath their information, and once you’ve filled the bar up, you will be banned. So we ask that you please read the rules.

Respect staff and fellow players, any comments intended to hurt and/or are hateful towards anyone will not be tolerated, such as racism, gender, harassment, sexual harassment, and so forth. Don’t call anyone fowl names, even if they are not on this forum. Its rude, and no one else needs to see your hatred towards said person. Anyone who decides they would like to break this rule, will be issued a warning.

No spamming! Don’t make random obnoxious topics/posts that don’t make sense. No board on here, even including the Con Community forum, will not tolerate spam.
Spam is considered random key smashing, abusing the smiley faces, making threads and or replies that are demanding service and whatnot, and excessive letter and symbol pressing.

Double Posting. Aki Con is going to try being lenient with the double posting. We will allow you to only double post, but not triple or quadruple posts. If this becomes a problem, we won’t allow double posting, and your posts will be removed or merged with your previous post.

Aki Con relations. Please refrain from talking about things not related to Aki Con in Project Aki and Aki Con 2009 Forums. We do not want to hear about your complaints about other conventions, which in turn, some get offended, and a flame war starts. Remember, Aki Con is not competing with any other conventions.

PG-13 Rated Forum and Convention. Aki Con is rated PG-13, meaning no profanity. Be courteous, and use normal civilized language wherever you are. In other words, no cussing please! If worse comes to worse, the administrators will have to go in and add a filter that will remove said cuss words. A warning will be given to those who decide they want to extend their vocabulary with profane words.

Hate Mail. If you are receiving PM’s from another user that are clearly harassment towards you, please report it to an administrator immediately. Any hate mail will not be tolerated on the Aki Con forums. Anyone caught will be given more then one warning, and if continues, you will be banned.
